TRUE PRESS

True Press from Los Angeles, CA are pushing to bring their progressive reggae sound to new audiences. Three friends met in 2005 in Monrovia and soon after began jamming in an abandoned house which had no electricity. Pedro, Johnny and KP added Gyl Bonus in 2009 who took control of the lead-guitarist role. Shortly after, True Press released their EP “Sweet Reggae” and it as an instant favorite amongst avid reggae fans. With the recent addition of Christopher Parkhurst on keys the group has a new live energy and an uplifting, catchy sound which will rock any venue. The release of their first album “Anything Is Possible” debuted at #3 on the iTunes reggae charts and #6 on the Billboard reggae charts. They introduced their live show in over 20 states immediately following their release which was co-produced by Lewis Richards (Sublime, The DIrty Heads), and E.N Young (Tribal Seeds). From dailey struggles to world news, the message really is simple. It’s more of a movement…. a TRUE PRESS!!!
